Basic number sequences prepare the child for the basics of multiplication.

Basic number sequences introduce 1st grade children to counting by 2s, 5s and 10s. 2nd grade students are introduced to counting by 2 through 5.  3rd grade students are introduced to counting by 6 through 12.   

The Basic number sequence problems illustrate the actual sequence. Children use the given sequence to solve the problems.
