Advanced Number Sequences
[ Home ] [ Up ] [ Example ]
Advanced number sequences assume the child has
mastered the basic number sequence problems and is now familiar with
sequences.
Advanced number sequence aims at the child
excelling at the
fundamentals of sequences. 1st grade
children work on counting by 2s, 5s and 10s. 2nd grade students are
introduced to counting by 1 through 5. 3rd grade students are introduced
to counting by 6 through 12.
The Advanced number sequence problems do not illustrate the actual sequence. Children
have to determine the missing values on their own.
Here is an example of a
completed counting by 6s, Advanced number sequence assignment.
